However the longer frame on the P365 will make for a better shooter. Even with the 12-round extended mag in a std P365 I find I can handle and shoot the P365X better. It might be due to the slight flare at the base of the grip.In my opinion, the P365 trigger is smooth enough. Any gains achieved by polishing will not likely show up on your target 7-15 yards away. Where and how consistently the bullet hits should be the goal, not the feel of the trigger. Edit: and I do get the fix it til it's broke and it's fun to modify stuff thing.Buy a standard P365, and the SAS slide. This lets you try the sights without committing to the gun, should you not like them. As with Paul' above ^^^, it's a whole lot simpler to buy or sell the slide than a whole gun. The P365 is fully cocked when the slide is racked. The sear drops straight down into the chassis to release the striker. Pretty easy to see when your slide is off the gun. Glocks are partially cocked when racked. The trigger pull fully cocks and releases the striker. You can barely see the top of the irons with the 407k/507k and manage a center hold zero. I really like the trigger on the P365. Although I prefer a hammer-fired pistol, I have an appreciation for the striker-fired pistol. I find the P365 to be a smooth, clean breaking trigger with a nice reset. I particularly like the flat faced trigger on the XL.Buy a standard P365, and the SAS slide. This lets you try the sights without committing to the gun, should you not like them. As with Paul' above ^^^, it's a whole lot simpler to buy or sell the slide than a whole gun.
